Award-winning DJ/producer duo twoDB doesn’t allow the boundaries of genre rules to hold them back. In fact, it’s what makes this New York-based act so special. Fans and other DJs alike know that they can expect a wide variety of dance music from twoDB, from progressive house to trap to big room and beyond. It’s this array of different styles that’s helped make twoDB into a widely-respected name in dance music. They’ve been tapped by major labels such as Republic Records, Atlantic Records, and Capitol Records to do official remix work for artists such as Katy Perry, Rudimental (w/ Macklemore and Jess Glynne), Niall Horan, Noah Cyrus, and more. They’ve also received recognition for many of their unofficial remixes, including winning an award at the 2018 Remix Awards in Miami for their remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”, which topped the Remix Top 30 chart for 3 weeks straight and was “the most played remix in America” according to RT30 boss Hollywood Hamilton. twoDB also took home the Remix Award for Rising Remixer of the Year, a testament to their aggressive work ethic and release schedule. They are supported globally by mixshow and club DJs, who play their music as fast as the group can deliver it. Beyond remixes, they spent much of 2017 building up their catalog of original records, and released iParty (ft. Fo Onassis) at the end of the year to support from club DJ’s across the country. They kicked off 2018 with the release of the progressive house banger Sauce, and released a brand new remix from California producer Kepik for their single Ocean Avenue. The rest of 2018 will see the release of several more singles and plenty of remixes, as well as a focus on expanding their live presence into new markets.
